This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued for subscriptions purchased through https://opscale.app (the “Service”). By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Subscription payments
Opscale operates on a subscription-based billing model. Depending on the plan selected, subscriptions may be billed monthly or annually and renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
All subscription fees are billed in advance for the selected billing period.
2. Refund eligibility
As a general rule, payments for subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
However, refunds may be granted in the following cases:
a. Duplicate charges
If you were charged more than once for the same subscription due to a billing error, we will refund the duplicate payment.
b. Technical errors
If a payment was processed due to a system error or technical malfunction, we will review the case and issue a refund where appropriate.
c. Initial purchase grace period
For new customers, refund requests submitted within 7 days of the first subscription purchase may be eligible for a refund if the service has not been substantially used.
Refund requests made after this period may not be approved.
3. Non-refundable situations
Refunds will generally not be issued for:
- Partial subscription periods
- Failure to cancel a subscription before renewal
- Change of mind after significant use of the platform
- Downgrades or unused features
- Suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service
4. Subscription cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
When a subscription is canceled:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
- No refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the current billing period.
5. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider.
Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in temporary suspension of your account while the dispute is reviewed.
6. Refund processing
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider but typically takes 5–10 business days.
